This resource contains information on the features of provider qualifications; the process that could be followed in the development and packaging of qualifications; and the criteria and outcomes that a provider qualification would be subjected to during its accreditation. Examples of how certain questions in the application form could be answered are also contained within the document.
These guidelines were developed to help institutions that are intending to develop qualifications and seek their accreditation on the Pacific Qualifications Framework by the Educational Quality and Assessment Programme (EQAP).
The document should be read in conjunction with the Pacific Qualifications Framework (PQF) and the Pacific Quality Assurance Framework (PQAF), the latter of which contains standards and guidelines on the quality assurance of qualifications and units of learning.
